Rockgas LPG makes brewing a breeze at Altitude

Popular Queenstown brewery and taproom Altitude Brewing depends on Rockgas reticulated LPG to keep their operations flowing and growing.

Altitude Brewing is a small brewery situated on the picturesque on the shores of Lake Wakatipu.

“We do a lot of heating and boiling so we decided to go with LPG because it’s instant heat for our brewery,” says Founder Eliott Menzies.

He says he appreciates the prompt communication they receive from Rockgas team.

“We can ring them up and they’ll be down here to service our burners and also come up with some good advice in terms of how to save money.”

The brewery makes about 300,000 litres a year with plans to expand to 500,000 or 600,000 litres.

“We’re in the process of having more tanks put in, which means more beer to fill those  tanks and Rockgas is always going to play a huge part in making that beer.”
