Life can be complicated. LPG hot water isn’t.

Swipe left, swipe right, super like and wait, I thought they were your ex?

Life has enough complications. So it’s a relief to find a reliable, simple pleasure with no strings attached.

Hot water heating with Rockgas LPG is one of them. Kiwi families have been enjoying it since the 1930s, and it’s no surprise. While new technologies come and go (remember those black hoses on the roof people were using to heat water in the 70s?), using Rockgas LPG for water heating is a Kiwi classic for a reason.

It couldn’t be simpler. Your friendly local Rockgas driver delivers full LPG bottles to your home, and connects them to the fittings outside your house. LPG flows to your water heater, where it is burned to heat water when you need it. Then, when your regulator shows red to tell you one of your two bottles has run out, you switch to the full one and let us know you need a replacement. (We’ve made that simple too, with an app that makes the whole ordering process a breeze.)

Oh and here’s a simple tip so you’ll always know when you’re down to one bottle – make a habit of checking your LPG regulator each week when you put out the rubbish bins.

Then once you’ve ordered your replacement bottle, make things simple for our driver too, by checking that the path and bottle installation are clear of obstacles like branches and even ice in the wintertime.

If it all sounds simple, then that’s because it is. At Rockgas we believe there are enough complications in life. Enjoying a hot bath at the end of a long day, washing the mud off after a tough game of midwinter rugby or just enjoying a fantastic, piping hot home-cooked meal should be all about how it makes you feel – not the complications.
